Pollux (Japan, NTC license)

Pollux is an arcade shooting game where your main goal is to survive and score as many points as possible. First, familiarize yourself with the controls. You can move your spaceship left, right, up, and down using the joystick or corresponding direction keys. To fire your weapons, press the fire button. At the start of the game, you'll enter the first level. Scan the screen for enemy spaceships. They will approach from different directions, so keep your eyes peeled. As you progress through the levels, the enemy types and attack patterns will change. Some enemies may fire in a straight line, while others may have more complex firing patterns. For example, some might fire in a spread - like pattern, making it harder to dodge. In these cases, try to move in a zig - zag motion to avoid the incoming fire. Collect power - ups that appear on the screen. These can enhance your weapons, giving you stronger firepower or additional shooting capabilities. Make sure to time your movements carefully when going for power - ups, as you don't want to get hit by enemy fire while trying to grab them. If you get hit by an enemy's shot, you'll lose a life. You start with a limited number of lives, so use them wisely. Try to learn from your mistakes and improve your strategy with each playthrough.
