Let it capture your current ship, then take out the boss enemy on its next dive to reclaim your captured vessel, which will attach to your active ship to grant double wide firepower. This doubles your damage output and cuts wave clear time in half, though you will have a larger hitbox, so stick close to the bottom of the screen and avoid unnecessary horizontal movements when enemies are diving. Next, memorize the fixed enemy spawn and dive patterns unique to this conversion: waves spawn in a repeating order of 8 small drones, 6 mid-tier fighters, 4 boss units, then a fast bonus wave of unarmored drones.
