Mastering Eight Forces starts with learning the core control scheme first: use the 8-way joystick to move your character horizontally and vertically across the screen, the A button for standard light/heavy attacks, the B button for jumps, and press A+B simultaneously to trigger a crowd-clearing special attack that deals heavy damage to all nearby enemies (note this consumes 10% of your health bar, so save it for when you are surrounded by 3 or more enemies).
