Mastering Eggor’s arcade gameplay requires a mix of quick reflexes, pattern memorization, and strategic planning, and these tips will help you beat even the hardest later levels and climb the global leaderboards. First, familiarize yourself with the basic controls: use the 8-way joystick to move left, right, up ladders, and down ladders, and the single action button to swing your wooden club (to stun small enemies) or throw collected stone power-ups. First priority in every level is to clear nests on higher platforms first: pterodactyl spawn rates increase the longer you spend on a level, and higher platforms have far fewer spots for T-Rexes to spawn, letting you collect eggs without worrying about being cornered by the large, unbeatable predators. When a T-Rex does spawn, never try to fight it: your club has no effect on adult Tyrannosaurs, so immediately run to the nearest vertical ladder and climb up at least two platforms, as T-Rexes cannot climb ladders and will despawn after 10 seconds. For pterodactyls, memorize their fixed flight pattern: they alternate between high left-to-right sweeps, high right-to-left sweeps, and a low dive attack that only targets the lowest platform in the level. If you see the third sweep coming, make sure you are on at least the second platform to avoid taking damage. Always prioritize golden eggs when they spawn: each golden egg awards 5,000 points, and you earn an extra life every 20,000 points, so collecting four golden eggs gives you a free life to help you through harder levels. Save your stone power-ups for emergency situations: a single stone can destroy a pterodactyl mid-flight, so only use it if you are trapped between a T-Rex, a swooping pterodactyl, and a broken trap floor with no escape route. Finally, never stand in the same spot for more than 3 seconds: volcanic boulders spawn directly above stationary players and fall in under a second, giving you no time to dodge if you stay still for too long.
