First, since all item and ability descriptions are in Spanish, take 10 seconds to read pop-up text when you pick up new gear: many new players accidentally waste rare consumables like Potiones de Curación Mayor (Greater Healing Potions) or Pergaminos de Bola de Fuego (Fireball Scrolls) on weak enemy groups because they skip reading labels. For co-op runs, prioritize a balanced party composition: always include at least one Cleric, who can cast group healing spells and turn undead enemies for one-hit kills, and one Thief, who can unlock hidden golden chests scattered across levels that hold rare permanent stat boosts and unique weapons you can’t get anywhere else. If you’re playing solo, stick to the Fighter or Dwarf for your first run: both have high HP pools, simple melee-focused movesets, and minimal resource management, unlike the Magic-User or Elf which require careful spell conservation. When you reach the first level fork after defeating the goblin camp boss, choose the Camino del Pantano (Swamp Path) instead of the Paso de Montaña (Mountain Pass) if your party is below level 3: the mountain pass is populated by frost giants that can one-shot low-level characters, while the swamp has easier goblin and hag enemies plus extra XP from hidden side quests.
