First, get comfortable with the core controls: the trackball moves you horizontally across your current platform tier, while the level shift buttons let you move up or down between platform layers – use level shifts instead of horizontal movement to dodge incoming discs whenever possible, as it’s far faster and throws off Sark’s aim far more effectively. Second, never waste your discs on direct frontal attacks: Sark blocks nearly 90% of straight-on throws, so aim your discs at the left or right arena walls to make them bounce off and strike Sark from his blind sides. Bounced hits also award double the points of direct hits, so this strategy will also help you unlock extra lives faster. Third, don’t hold down the block button permanently: your shield only blocks one disc per activation, and has a 1-second cooldown after use.
