Your tank has three separate armor bars (front, side, rear) rather than a single health pool, so always keep your heavily reinforced front armor facing incoming enemy fire to minimize damage — rear hits deal 3x more damage, so never let enemies flank you unless you have no other escape option. Prioritize collecting power-ups in the following order for the best chance of success: first, armor repair pickups that restore 50% of your total armor, especially if your front armor bar is below 30% capacity. Second, plasma cannon power-ups that replace your default cannon with a piercing shot that can take out 3 enemies at once, which is essential for handling the massive enemy swarms that spawn starting in level 4. Third, speed boost power-ups that let you outrun boss projectile attacks and reposition quickly to defend convoy objectives.
