Bio Attack

Mastering Bio Attack takes a mix of quick reflexes, smart resource management, and knowledge of enemy patterns to climb the high score leaderboards. First, familiarize yourself with the core controls: use the 8-way joystick to move your craft across the bottom half of the screen, and the single fire button to launch continuous anti-pathogen projectiles. Your first priority in every level should be eliminating airborne spore enemies the second they appear on screen: if left alive for more than three seconds, these spores will hatch into three fast-moving virus drones that swarm your position, making them far harder to take out. When facing stage bosses, always aim for their glowing red weak points: every boss has a single exposed core usually located near their center or head that takes 5x more damage than the rest of their body, so focusing your fire here will cut your battle time in half and reduce the amount of dangerous boss projectile barrages you have to dodge. Make sure to grab every power-up that drops from defeated enemies: the blue antibody power-up doubles your fire rate for 10 seconds, the yellow shield power-up blocks one incoming hit, and the rare red DNA power-up gives you an extra life. Avoid staying in the center of the screen at all costs: most enemy attack patterns spread out from the top center, so sticking to the bottom left or right corner will give you more time to react to incoming fire. During bonus stages that unlock after every three levels, focus on hitting as many floating white blood cells as possible: each one gives you 1000 extra points, and hitting 20 or more will reward you with a free extra life to help you survive the harder late-game levels. In later stages, enemies will start moving in unpredictable zig-zag patterns, so try to anticipate their path instead of reacting to their current position to avoid getting trapped.
