Master the core control scheme first: press the A button to fire, hold it for automatic continuous fire, use the B button to deploy a bomb that clears all on-screen bullets and deals massive damage to bosses, and press the C button once your HYPER gauge is full to activate HYPER mode. Save your bombs exclusively for boss fights or unmanageable dense bullet waves, as using a bomb costs far less score than losing a life, which will reset your entire combo streak entirely. Your HYPER gauge fills as you land hits on enemies, and activating it grants 10 seconds of doubled fire rate, bullet canceling shots, and 2x combo score multipliers: prioritize activating it during mid-boss and final boss encounters to eliminate their most unforgiving attack patterns while racking up massive point bonuses. To unlock the hidden true ending, beat the first 6 stages without using any bombs and hold a total score of 5 million points or higher before the final stage, which will trigger a secret extra boss fight. For a hidden power-up, fly to the top-right corner of the screen and hold position for 2 seconds right before the third stage’s mid-boss spawns, and you will receive a free extra bomb capacity upgrade.
