If you’re new to playing Avengers (US Set 2), start with these core tips to make your playthrough smoother. First, master the basic control scheme: use the joystick to move, the A button for standard melee and ranged attacks, the B button to jump, and press A+B together to trigger a wide area-of-effect special attack that clears all nearby enemies, at the cost of a small portion of your health. For new players, Captain America is the most forgiving character choice, as his shield automatically blocks incoming projectile attacks, giving you a high defense boost without extra effort. If playing in a group, assign roles: keep Hawkeye at the back of the group to use his long-range penetrating arrows to clear distant clusters of enemies, use Iron Man’s explosive rocket attacks to take out grouped grunts, and pick Vision if you want high damage output against boss fights. In US Set 2 specifically, enemy damage is higher than in the first set, so avoid being surrounded by more than 3 enemies at once, and don’t hesitate to use your special attack if you get cornered – the small health cost is far less than the damage you would take from a swarm of enemies. Break every crate and barrel you find, as many hide health packs, extra lives, and temporary power-ups like invincibility stars. For boss fights, learn their attack patterns: Crossbones has a long wind-up before his charging punch, so dodge sideways then attack his back; for the final boss Loki, wait for him to finish teleporting and using his laser attack before rushing in to deal damage, and use the stage pillars to block his ranged attacks.
