Next, master the charged shot mechanic: holding the fire button builds a powerful special attack, but you leave your plane vulnerable while charging. Only charge when the screen is clear of enemy bullets, and release just before a large wave of enemies enters the frame to maximize damage. Save your bombs for emergencies: never waste bombs on minor enemy groups.
