Game Guide

If you’re new to Wagamama Fairy Mirumo de Pon! - Yume no Kakera, start by mastering the core mechanics first to make your playthrough smooth. Use the directional pad to move, the A button to jump, and the B button to activate Mirumo’s magic — magic is your most essential tool, so don’t neglect collecting Dream Fragments early to unlock new abilities. Every 5 Dream Fragments you collect unlocks one new magic, so prioritize exploring every corner of a level instead of rushing straight to the exit. Many hidden fragments and paths are locked behind obstacles that require specific magic: thick thorn barriers need growth magic to clear, cracked stone walls need strength magic to break, and high-altitude platforms can only be accessed after you unlock levitation magic. Never skip talking to every NPC you encounter: many NPCs will give you a free Dream Fragment or useful recovery item in exchange for simple small quests, like finding their lost accessory. For boss battles, especially the early battle against Yashichi, remember to keep moving to dodge his projectile attacks, and wait for him to pause after a combo attack to throw a chocolate item (Mirumo’s favorite snack) at him to deal damage. Three direct hits will take down most early bosses. To unlock the game’s exclusive true ending, you need to collect all 45 Dream Fragments across all 8 worlds. Many fragments are hidden in secret rooms tucked behind false background walls, usually behind trees or bookcases. Look for slightly darker patches in the background to spot these entrances, and activating Mirumo’s scan magic will reveal them automatically. Always keep at least one heart recovery item in your inventory when heading to a new late-game world: traps deal heavy damage, and a recovery item will save you from restarting the entire level.
