First, master your basic controls: use the directional pad to maneuver the Millennium Falcon, the A button to fire your primary laser cannons, the B button to fire homing missiles, and the L and R shoulder buttons to adjust your engine speed. Don’t skip adjusting your speed: turning and aiming is far easier at medium thrust than full speed, so drop your speed when you’re navigating tight spaces like the Death Star trench or dodging asteroids.
