Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros 3 (Europe) (EnFrDeEsIt) (Rev 1)

Released in 2003 by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 (Europe Rev 1) is the polished European re-release of the beloved enhanced port of the original 1988 NES classic Super Mario Bros 3. This revision fixes minor localization errors, performance slowdowns, and small bugs reported in the initial launch, and supports five major European languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian, making it accessible to a wide range of players across the continent. As the fourth entry in Nintendo’s Super Mario Advance handheld series, this port retains every bit of the magic that made the original Super Mario Bros 3 one of the most acclaimed platformers of all time, while adding quality-of-life and visual upgrades suited for the GBA. The core adventure follows Mario and Luigi as they set out to defeat Bowser, who has kidnapped Princess Peach and seized control of eight distinct kingdoms, each with unique thematic levels, enemies, and challenges. Game Guide

Whether you’re a first-time player or returning to this classic GBA port, these tips will help you master every world and unlock all hidden content. Start with the fundamentals: holding the B button to build running speed is critical for clearing long gaps and reaching high platforms, and you can adjust your jump trajectory mid-air with the directional pad to land on small, tricky platforms. One of the most useful underrated tricks this version supports is storing a backup power-up by pressing Start to switch your active power-up to your reserve slot; always keep a Super Leaf or Tanooki Suit in reserve for tough sections, so you don’t have to restart a level if you take a hit. When it comes to power-ups, each has a specific use that makes it invaluable. The Super Leaf is the most versatile: tap A repeatedly after a running jump to activate flight, which lets you reach hidden blocks, secret overworld paths, and skip large sections of tricky levels. The Tanooki Suit adds the ability to turn into a statue, which lets you avoid moving enemies, falling spikes, and autoscroll hazards that would otherwise kill you. The Frog Suit makes water level navigation far easier, giving you faster, more precise swimming controls than any other form, so always grab it if you’re entering a water-focused stage. This version is packed with hidden secrets: the first two worlds have hidden Warp Whistles that let you skip entire worlds. The first Warp Whistle in World 1 lets you jump directly to World 5, and the second in World 2 can take you straight to World 8 for a fast speedrun. If you’re low on extra lives, the first level of World 1 has a classic 1-up grinding spot: bounce a Koopa shell off a set of blocks repeatedly to rack up multiple 1-Ups with consistent timing. For boss fights, Bowser Jr. encounters only require three well-timed jumps on his tail to beat; wait for him to stop moving after throwing a rock before you jump. The final Bowser fight doesn’t require jumping on his head:
