Super Collapse! II (USA)

Released in 2002 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance (GBA) in North America, Super Collapse! II (USA) is the official portable port of the hit casual puzzle game originally developed by GameHouse, published by MumboJumbo for the US market. Building on the simple addictive formula of the original Super Collapse, this sequel adds expanded content, new game modes, and refined gameplay that fits perfectly with the GBA's on-the-go handheld design. Unlike traditional grid-based match-three puzzle games, Super Collapse! II tasks players with selecting groups of two or more adjacent colored blocks to remove them from the playing field. After each clear, all blocks above the cleared area fall downward to fill empty gaps, while new blocks slowly rise from the bottom of the screen. If blocks reach the top edge of the field, your run ends. The GBA version of Super Collapse! II delivers bright, vivid graphics optimized for the GBA's screen, smooth responsive controls, and three distinct game modes to

Game Guide

Mastering Super Collapse! II on GBA is easy once you learn core strategies for each game mode, starting with basic controls. On GBA, you use the D-pad to move your selection cursor across the block grid, press the A button to clear any valid connected group of same-color blocks, and use the B button to undo your last move in Puzzle and Strategy modes—don't hesitate to undo if you make a misstep that traps you. For endless Classic mode, your main goal is to earn as high a score as possible before the stack reaches the top. Always prioritize clearing large connected groups first: larger groups award far more points per block, and clearing big chunks early keeps the stack low longer. Avoid leaving scattered single blocks across the grid, since single blocks can't be cleared on their own, and they will gradually push the entire stack higher over time. Save any power-ups (like bombs or full-row clears) for emergency situations when the stack is getting close to the top or you have too many trapped single blocks. For Puzzle mode, where you need to clear the entire pre-set grid to complete the level, always plan moves ahead. Start by clearing smaller groups that will open up larger same-color groups after blocks fall, instead of immediately clearing the biggest available group. Most puzzles only have one correct clearing order, so use the undo feature freely to test different sequences if you get stuck. For Strategy mode, where new blocks only rise after you clear a group, keep your stack balanced across all columns. Uneven stacks lead to gaps that trap single blocks and end your run early. The GBA version also lets you save your progress mid-session, so you can pause an endless Classic run or save your Puzzle progress to come back later.
