When starting your playthrough of Samsara Naga 1x2 (Rev 2), your first choice of starter Naga will set the tone for your entire early game. We recommend picking the Water-aligned starter Naga, as it has balanced defense and access to early healing abilities that will carry you through the first three dungeons without frequent party wipes. This revised version adjusted enemy spawn rates in early zones, so you no longer need to grind for hours to level up your first companions, but you should still aim to hit level 10 before entering the Forest of Whispers to avoid being overwhelmed by wild high-damage Poison Naga. For grid-based combat, always position your tankiest Naga on the front row to block melee attacks, and keep your magic or ranged Naga on the back two rows to keep them out of immediate enemy range. Each Naga follows a clear elemental alignment system that you should always leverage: Fire beats Earth, Earth beats Water, Water beats Fire, and Poison beats all neutral alignments if uncountered by Holy-type units. Targeting an enemy’s weakness deals 2x damage, turning even tough boss fights into manageable encounters. To unlock the hidden rare Golden Naga egg (a new addition exclusive to Rev 2), complete all 12 side quests offered by village elders, then check the secret cave behind the central temple to claim your egg. When allocating stat points for your Naga, add 2 points to attack and 1 point to defense for offensive teams, or 2 points to defense and 1 point to HP for tank units; avoid wasting points on magic if your Naga has fewer than three innate magic abilities, as stat returns for unused magic are very low in Rev 2’s balanced system. Finally, always save before entering a new dungeon or fighting a boss, and keep multiple save files to avoid losing progress, even with Rev 2’s bug fixes.
