First and foremost, prioritize collecting every Djinn as soon as you enter a new region. Each Djinn boosts your character’s base stats, and unlocking new character classes depends on matching Djinn elements to your party members. For example, setting Venus Djinn to main protagonist Isaac will amplify his healing and defensive capabilities, while assigning Jupiter Djinn to Ivan will boost his speed and support magic utility. Don’t leave any area until you’ve checked every hidden cave, side path and breakable obstacle – nearly a third of the game’s Djinn are hidden in optional side areas that require basic Psynergy to access. For combat strategy, learn to balance set Djinn and standby Djinn. Leaving a Djinn on standby lets you unleash devastating elemental summons that can quickly take down tough bosses, but summoned Djinn go on cooldown for multiple turns, lowering your character’s stats until they are reset.
