Always keep a close eye on your food and water supplies when sailing long distances; running out of supplies will drain your entire crew’s health rapidly, and can lead to an unexpected game over before you reach your next port. The game’s turn-based battle system relies on elemental weaknesses: most sea-based and coastal enemies are weak to fire skills, so unlock the fire mage character early by completing the small delivery quest in Okinawa port to make early encounters much easier. To unlock the game’s true ending, you’ll need to collect all 12 hidden blue jade fragments scattered across unmarked islands.
