Nicktoons Unite! for GBA is designed to be accessible for all skill levels, but these key tips will help you progress smoothly, unlock all hidden content, and defeat tough bosses faster. First, get comfortable swapping characters regularly: every puzzle and section is designed around a specific character’s unique ability, so sticking to one character will leave you stuck. SpongeBob’s bubble attack is the only way to activate distant floating switches that open locked gates across Bikini Bottom levels, and his bubble float ability lets him cross large bottomless pits that no other character can navigate. If you run into glowing purple ghost barriers or invisible platforms, swap to Danny Phantom. Activate his ghost form by holding the attack button to pass through barriers, fly over gaps, and reveal hidden platforms only ghosts can see. Danny’s ghost beam also deals double damage to ghost enemies in Amity Park, making it far more effective than other character attacks against these foes. For heavy boulders blocking paths or large chasms without bridges, use Timmy Turner’s magic grapple. Latch onto the hidden hook points to pull boulders out of the way or swing across gaps, and activate his fairy wish ability to reveal hidden collectibles in any level. When you encounter small tunnels too small for any character to enter, swap to Jimmy Neutron and use his shrink ray to shrink down and crawl through. His rocket boots also let him reach higher platforms that other characters can’t jump to, making him essential for accessing hidden orbs in every world. For the final boss fight against Professor Calamitous, swap characters each phase to counter his attacks: use Jimmy’s rockets to dodge laser blasts in phase one, Danny’s flight to avoid spinning attacks in phase two, and SpongeBob’s long-range bubbles to hit his final weak point in phase three.
