First, always deploy light reconnaissance units before pushing your main force into uncharted territory. Scouting reveals hidden enemy positions and unclaimed resource points, which are the backbone of your ability to produce new units and call in reinforcements. Hold captured resource points at all costs: extra supply nodes will let you replace losses and call in support faster than your opponent, which is the key to winning prolonged engagements. Next, learn core unit matchups to avoid costly mistakes. Anti-tank infantry and missile units dominate heavy armor in most scenarios, while main battle tanks easily wipe out unprotected infantry in open terrain. Attack helicopters can decimate enemy vehicle convoys, but they are extremely vulnerable to even basic enemy anti-air systems, so always pair your air detachment with mobile anti-air support. For urban combat scenarios, prioritize infantry over heavy armor: infantry can navigate tight city streets, take cover in buildings, and ambush enemy forces far more effectively than large tanks, which become easy targets when stuck in narrow corridors.
