Fantastici 4 I (Italy)

Fantastici 4 I (Italy) is the Italian-language regional release of the first Fantastic Four action-adventure game built exclusively for the Game Boy Advance, released in 2005 by publisher Activision to coincide with the debut of the first live-action Fantastic Four theatrical film. Built to match the plot of the blockbuster movie, this GBA title follows Marvel’s iconic superhero team after they gain extraordinary powers following a cosmic radiation accident, all the way to their final showdown with their arch-nemesis, Doctor Doom (renamed Dottor Destino for this Italian localization). Unlike other region releases, all in-game menus, dialogue, and story text are fully localized into Italian, making it a beloved collectible for Italian retro GBA fans and Marvel collectors around the world. As a side-scrolling action game built for handheld play, it features accessible controls and dynamic gameplay that lets players swap between all four members of the team on the fly, each with their own

Game Guide

Whether you’re a first-time player or returning to this retro GBA classic after decades, these tips will help you blast through levels and beat Dottor Destino without running out of lives. First, master the core mechanic: swapping between the four heroes at any time. Most levels are designed to require multiple character abilities to progress, so don’t stick to just your favorite fighter. For example, when you encounter distant platforms or out-of-reach switches, swap to Mister Fantastic immediately to avoid getting stuck, which is a common pain point for new players. When you face sections with constant projectile fire or laser traps, pull out the Invisible Woman to block damage or sneak past undetected, which saves your health for harder boss fights. For open gaps with no solid ground, the Human Torch’s flight ability is the only way across, and the Thing should always be your first pick for breaking through hidden walls and taking down high-health bosses. If you’re playing this Italian-language release and don’t speak Italian, remember that the main menu option “Inizia Gioco” translates to Start Game, while “Selezione Livello” opens the level select menu after you unlock it. For boss fights, always match your hero to the boss’s weakness: the early boss Trapster relies on long-range traps, so use the Invisible Woman’s shield to get close, then swap to the Thing for heavy damage. In the final fight against Dottor Destino, the fight has three phases: first, use the Thing to break his armor plating, then use the Invisible Woman to block his massive energy blasts when he fires from across the arena, and finally swap to the Human Torch to deal consistent damage to his unarmored final form. Don’t forget to hunt for hidden collectibles: breaking cracked walls with the Thing often reveals hidden health pickups and comic book collectibles that unlock bonus concept art after you complete the game. If you’re running low on lives, replay earlier levels to collect extra lives
