First, prioritize leveling up your character early in any run instead of hoarding gold for expensive properties. Early low-level monster encounters grant easy experience points that boost your attack and defense stats, letting you take on stronger monsters later and avoid losing all your gold to an unexpected defeat early on. When you have control over your movement aim, prioritize green event spaces whenever possible: these often grant free items, full health refills, or gold bonuses with none of the risk of a tough monster battle. Never head into new areas without at least 2-3 healing potions in your inventory; the GBA version of Dokapon does not auto-heal your character between encounters, so a surprise strong monster can end your run quickly if you’re unprepared. For competitive multiplayer matches, focus on controlling connected clusters of high-income property instead of buying scattered single plots across the board.
