First, master the basic controls: use the directional pad to move Croket, the A button to interact with objects and NPCs, confirm menu selections, and attack, while the B button cancels selections and opens the main menu. Use L and R to quickly swap between your equipped items and skills without opening the full menu, which saves critical time during combat and exploration. For early game progression, prioritize upgrading Croket’s signature Dough Punch skill first. This skill has a quick cooldown and deals high damage to most early-game enemies, letting you clear regular encounters much faster than relying on basic attacks. When building your party, always add Wotton as your secondary teammate as soon as you unlock him.
