Alien Hominid (Europe) (EnFrDeEsIt)

Released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance by publisher Zoo Digital Publishing, Alien Hominid (Europe) is the multi-language regional port of the beloved cult hit originally developed by The Behemoth, born from a wildly popular original Flash game. This European release supports five languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian, opening up its chaotic, humorous side-scrolling shooter gameplay to players across the continent. The game centers on a tiny, feisty alien whose spacecraft is shot down over Earth, leaving him stranded and hunted by ruthless CIA agents, special forces, and government-backed mercenaries. Armed with a reliable energy blaster and sharp acrobatic skills, your goal is to fight your way through dozens of action-packed levels, reclaim your stolen ship parts, and escape the planet before you are captured or eliminated. Alien Hominid stands out for its bold, cartoonish art style, over-the-top playful violence, and tight, responsive platforming mechanics that

Game Guide

Mastering Alien Hominid on GBA starts with leaning into its movement mechanics, which are your most valuable tool against endless waves of enemy agents. The GBA control scheme maps jump to the A button, primary fire to B, and dodge roll to the L/R shoulder buttons, and one critical tip new players often miss: your dodge roll has full invincibility frames during the entire animation. This means you can roll straight through enemy bullets, melee attacks, and even explosive blasts to avoid damage completely, so make rolling a regular part of your combat rotation instead of only using it to escape corners. When navigating levels, remember you can climb any vertical pole or pipe by holding up or down against the surface. This lets you reposition behind groups of enemies, avoid ground-based threats, and attack from unexpected angles instead of charging straight into open gunfire. Always pick up dropped weapons from defeated enemies: the shotgun takes out groups of agents in one or two shots, and the rocket launcher deals massive damage to bosses and armored targets far faster than your default blaster. For boss fights, the core rule is to learn attack patterns before rushing to deal damage. The first level's armored FBI van boss requires you to destroy all four tires first to immobilize it, then target the roof turret, before finishing off the cab core. For late-game bosses like the giant military tank, stay constantly moving, roll away from missile barrages, and only fire at the exposed missile ports between attack waves. Don't forget to hunt for 100 hidden gold coins scattered across every level: collecting all coins unlocks a secret bonus difficulty mode and exclusive concept art, adding plenty of replay value for returning players.
